Who is the WGGC?

The Governor’s Council is a critical piece of the state government and plays an outsize role in mass incarceration.  We have attended many meetings of the council and followed its activities for several years.  We have come to realize that much of the electorate does not vote for this longstanding but little known office.  Our focus is on educating the public about the importance of this elected body, and paving new pathways for voters and councilors to interact directly.
