If you can attend a meeting in person, go to the Massachusetts State House, Room 360, and check out the Governor’s Council in action on Wednesdays. There they interview candidates nominated by the governor for judgeships, Parole Board membership, and other court positions. Time and days of these public meetings are posted. Meetings usually last two hours but you can come and go as necessary. In addition, the council holds an assembly chaired by the lieutenant governor at 12:00 PM on Wednesdays.
